Dublin Gaels Swim & Dive Honors Class of 2026 on Senior Night

The energy at The Wave was electric this past Thursday as the Dublin Gaels Swim & Dive team hosted Livermore for their annual Senior Night celebration. The afternoon was more than just a competition; it was a heartfelt tribute to the graduating Class of 2026, recognizing their years of dedication, leadership, and “Gaels Spirit.”

Relay Dominance Sets the Tone

The Gaels secured a decisive victory, powered by a masterclass in speed during the relay events. Both the Boys and Girls Varsity squads delivered standout performances in the 200 Freestyle Relay, with fast splits that left the competition behind and ignited the home crowd. These relay wins provided the momentum needed to sweep the meet and send the seniors out with a win in their final home league appearance.

Honoring the Class of 2026

Before the first whistle, teammates, families, and coaches gathered on the pool deck for a special ceremony. Underclassmen formed a tunnel of cheers as each senior was introduced, draped in flowers and surrounded by custom banners.

“Congrats to our @DublinHS.Swim Seniors! We are so proud of everything you have accomplished and can’t wait to see what your future holds,” the athletic department shared via Instagram.

Look Ahead

With the regular season winding down, the Gaels look to carry this momentum into their final away meets:

  • April 17: at Amador Valley

  • April 23: at Dougherty Valley
