Dublin High Swimmers Shine at NCS Championships 🏊


The Dublin Gaels swimming program delivered a series of standout performances this past weekend, May 8th and 9th, at the North Coast Section (NCS) Championships. Following a rigorous qualifying season, both the Boys and Girls teams competed against the region’s top talent, making their mark in individual events and high-stakes relays.

A major highlight of the weekend came from the Girls 200 Free Relay team, which powered through the trials to secure a spot in the finals. Competing against the fastest programs in the section, the Gaels placed 14th overall, cementing their status as one of the top relay squads in the region.


NCS Championship Roster & Highlights

Leading the individual charge for the Girls, Preet Agrawal showcased her speed and versatility by competing in both the 100 Fly and 100 Breast, while Samira Leung and Kelsie Spears also represented the Gaels in the 100 Fly. On the Boys’ side, Abhinav Kashyab represented Dublin in the 100 Back.

Event Summary

The Gaels competed in a wide range of championship heats, including:

  • Individual Stroke Events: 100 Fly, 100 Breast, 100 Back, and 200 IM.

  • Relay Events: 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay (Finalist – 14th Place), and 400 Free Relay.
